To Run Existing Reports

 

1.   From the appropriate window, e.g. Nominal Reports, select the report (or layout) you require.

2.   Specify the type of output required by selecting the appropriate option button from the Output area.

If the report (or layout) you are running has criteria enabled, the Criteria window appears. This window lets you run the report for specific ranges of data. After entering the ranges you require, click OK. If you leave all of the range boxes as they appeared, all of the appropriate data will be included.

3.   To generate the report (or layout), click Run.

Alternatively, you can double-click on a .SRD report file from Windows Explorer or File Manager to run that report. This report then appears in Preview form in the Report Designer window. If you then choose the Design tab, then the Preview tab again, it shows the up-to-date data in your report, not the saved report.
